Visit Udine
Udine is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Friuli, it is the "living room" of the region, with magnificent squares and beautiful buildings, a legacy of Venetian domination. Udine is also a lively and enjoyable university city, full of bars and restaurants where you can eat an excellent frico (the typical Friulian dish made with potatoes and cheese) paired with a tajut (or a nero..or a glass of red wine). Furthermore, being in the center of the region, it is the perfect base for exploring many other interesting places in the surrounding area.

Friulian Collio
Villages and vineyards climb along the hills of the territory included in the hilly area of the province of Gorizia, in the extreme eastern offshoot of Friuli, where that border which for many years was synonymous with closure, from a geographical point of view is instead characterized by the presence of villas, castles, small villages framed by approximately 1,600 hectares of vineyards that produce around twenty of the finest varieties of wines.

What to eat
Friuli Venezia Giulia is a territory made up of 2 distinct areas: Friuli and Venezia Giulia which are scenically, historically and culturally distinct from each other, it is also a borderland with Austrian and Slovenian influences. For this reason the cuisine is multicultural, heterogeneous, with dishes closely linked to the peasant tradition, to the mountains and to the products of the land.
